Snoopy barely escapes the charge of Lafayette. This statue had to be turned around 180 degrees. Some people thought it was offense for the horse's ass to be facing the state Capital. I think it was a subtle reminder to the legislators.
It took several tries to get Snoopy here. The wind kept blowing him off of the statue. The base of this statue is about ten or eleven feet height. I had to climb the side to get him up there.
This statue is located on the Green opposite Columbus, nearest to the capital.
